Christmas 2010 Wish List

03 December 2010

Because it's that time of the year again ;)

'Tis the season to be jolly, and what better way to do that than by sharing our blessings and making *ehem*a friend*ehem* happy? Or at least by helping a friend get what she wants, by constantly reminding her to keep her cool around oh I don't know, sales and pretty shoes?

Before doing this wish list I consulted the one I made last year and I'm glad to say I got almost all of them! The contact lens is in the very near future (next month, hopefully), I'll get a digital perm when my hair is already long enough, but the Chanel purse remains unattainable LOL. This year I got a credit card, a camera, a new computer, and a new phone so I'm already all set as far as wishes from last year go. Hopefully I can do the same for this year's list :)

Moleskine planner, preferably in pink
I have been buying Belle de Jour PowerPlanners for four years now and though I agree that yes they're very pretty, I must say that they leave little room for customization and creativity. [Meanwhile I still refuse to be drawn to the Starbucks Planner bandwagon.] I really want a Moleskine planner, but why does it have to be so expensive? LOL I'm planning to give it to myself as a New Year's gift ;)

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind DVD
This has been a permanent fixture in my wish lists for years now [video stores here no longer have any stocks of this movie], but I am more than happy to say it'll finally(!!!) be crossed off my list! I already have a VCD copy and a torrent-downloaded copy but because it is my ultimate favorite movie I just HAVE to have my own DVD of it. Much thanks to my credit card, PayPal, and eBay, my copy is now on its way to the Philippine soils ♥

iPod Touch
I do not really want want it to the point that I cannot sleep pining for it, but I just thought it would be a nifty little gadget to have. Nevertheless I am happy with my personal computer, netbook, Corby Delphi, and point-and-shoot digital camera so an iPod Touch is not an urgent need.

Kindle
This is another neat gadget to have, mainly because it will make carrying my books much easier. But I'm still over the fence whether I really want one or not. Meh I shouldn't have included it in my wish list then LOL.

Toy Story DVD set
I'm not even sure if it's available already, but I would really, really love the entire set of Toy Story movies wrapped in a pretty package :) Toy Story 3 is the best animated movie I've seen this year, and I can just imagine how nice it would be to walk down memory lane by having Toy Story marathons with my friends :)

Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
Back when I didn't have the slightest interest to read this book, I saw it in bookstores all.the.time. Now, now that I would really, really want to read it, well guess what? All bookstores I've been to have run out of copies. Funny how life works that way, eh? I would really want to read it because at least two persons already have told me that I remind them of this book's heroine. I wonder why? That is why I need to read this book.

Harry Potter boxed set
I had the paperbacks but I sold them [except for the fourth, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, because it was a gift from my ex-boyfriend Athan] because I wanted to buy the boxed set. Surprise, surprise, the boxed set has been available for a couple of years now but I still haven't gotten around to buying one. Why do you have to be so expensive? For all you know I would be able to save for my own set once bookstores here run out of stocks x_x

Mini Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
You gotta love Rebecca Bloomwood nee Brandon. With all her frivolity and excesses, she is a naturally kindhearted person, and I must say I can really sympathize with her. She may very well be my fictional counterpart ;D

Ugly Betty DVD boxed set of Seasons 1 - 4
It was so sad to watch this series end. I am thankful for all the times the whole cast of this TV show entertained me in all those days I spent alone in my old apartment. I just looove Marc and Amanda :)

Trainers, preferably in pink
I am embarrassed to admit that of all the shoes I have [and I do have quite a lot], not one of them can pass as something I can use for anything close to doing something physical like brisk walking or running. Whilst I would love to go to take advantage of  our gym in the office to tone these non-existent muscles, I do not have suitable shoes to do it. Whilst the closest I can possibly get to sports is by being a spectator, it would be great if I can dress the part sometimes. I do not need fancy schanzy sneakers or running shoes, I think this design of Converse raspberry trainers is chic in a no-nonsense, I don't care way. Perfect :)

These boots ♥ Still choosing between white and light pink
I saw these from Melai's online shop's pre-order album and fell in love. Wearing boots in Manila can elicit stares and unwanted attention, but I believe that if you carry an ensemble well then there's nothing to be ashamed of. Besides, this would be perfect for the the trips I have planned to make next year ;)

Pretty headbands ♥
I love headbands because they always add the perfect touch to any girly outfit. I wouldn't mind receiving pretty headbands, especially those from e.g.g. And yeah, I showed this Christmas wish list to a friend, and he immediately called dibs on giving me the headbands (since they're the least expensive LOL).

Of course, chandeliers (LOLOLOL), journals, plushies or pillows, desserts, and other stuff I can use to jazz up my new apartment with are very much welcome as well. ;) What about you, what are the items in your Christmas Wish Lists? :)
