Hello, I am Krissy, delighted to make your acquaintance.

I turned 30 this year and even though I am the eldest of three siblings although it feels like I'm still the baby of the family. I used to work as a Customer Service Representative for the world's local bank but in 2012 I took a leap of faith and left that job and the high pay to delve in Public Relations. Yep, I am one of the most shy and awfully awkward persons I know, but somehow I have stuck it out and I am currently enjoying it even when it gets stressful sometimes most of the time.

I am terrible at describing myself so I'll just talk about the things I like. In the event you're interested in any of them too, then give me a holler because I'm sure we'll be really great friends!

My favorite movie of all time is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I wish I co-wrote Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and Before Midnight. It is impossible for me to pick a favorite book but some of the ones that changed my life are Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist, Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry's The Little Prince, William Goldman's The Princess Bride, Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love, Neil Gaiman's Good Omens, Allie Brosh's Hyperbole and a Half, and JK Rowling's Harry Potter series. My playlist staples are songs by Fun., Keane, Britney Spears, The Format, Owl City, Maroon 5, Pink, Taylor Swift, The Neighbourhood, and alternative songs from the '90s. I agree with how How I Met Your Mother ended. The fictional character I can relate to the most is Ted Mosby, Jasmine is my favorite Disney Princess, and Batman is my favorite superhero. My celebrity crushes include Nate Ruess, Manix Abrera, Paul Rudd, Jesse Eisenberg, Ethan Hawke, Jason Bateman, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Sometimes my crushes get too intense that I think I might be legitimately *falling in love* with them. Heh.

I am happiest when I make. Weaving words is still my favorite medium of self-expression, but no matter what I'm making – prose or poetry or crafts – I'm always in the zone when I'm making something out of nothing. I have a lot of hobbies and projects. In the past year or so I have taken up yogacarving stampscalligraphypainting in watercolor, and attempting to write my first novella. I love personalized stuff and theme parties, and my favorite so far is my How I Met Your Mother-themed 28th birthday party. I also love reading, watching movies, watching the sun set, marveling at the moon, and the feeling of sand between my toes.

I have more notebooks and lipsticks than I can ever use in this lifetime but I just. Can't. Stop. Buying. I may or may not have a problem with hoarding as my room that I used to secretly call Serenity in Chaos is now one big chaotic catastrophic chaos. I fight for preserving the arts and the environment. I believe in peace, love, and lip gloss.

On early 2015, I wrote a Thing and it's currently included in the Sweet Complications ebook bundle in Buqo. Once Upon a Sticky Note is a short story that I hope will make you feel the feels~ and remember your first loves. I am currently writing the follow-up, and I am crossing my fingers it will get picked up for publication.

There are also some a lot of things I would like to share but can't blog about because my blog feels too... what's the word I'm looking for? Public. So, yeah, more private thoughts [that are not too private that they would have to be confined to my journal] will be shared via Tinyletter. You'll also find excerpts to writing projects here.
