Boots, food and books

17 November 2012

My computer crashed once again so I am here in my brother's room sneakily using his, but he will be home in a few so ssssshhh I need to make this post quick even though I am bursting with food and drinks so many stories to tell.

I just came from an ultimate foodtrip organized by MNL-MRM for Ayala Malls and when I say "ultimate foodtrip", I really mean it because we literally went on a trip out of town! To eat! We went to Marquee Mall in Pampanga to try out 17 restaurants and dessert places, so now you understand why I said in the beginning I am bursting with food and drinks. Ayala wanted to make sure the trip is worth it.  =^_^=

I would love to share photos of everything we ate with you guys but there are so many and I still have to edit them but I don't have time to do it tonight so I'm hoping I can get to it tomorrow. For the meantime, here are a couple of photos of what I wore today. Not that, you know, I am assuming you want to see it but I feel kinda cute in this outfit so please bear with me LOL.

Headband - SM AccessoriesJacket - Forever21 | Tank top - SOLO | Shorts - Aeropostale
Necklace - DIY | Watch - Skechers | Bag - Parisian | Socks - Landmark | Boots - Kickers

Can I just say again and again how much I looove my Kickers boots? Photos were taken before we started with the 17 restaurants hehehe. Aside from the fact I could barely breathe because I was too full #goodproblem it was a very cool experience and it was great to meet bloggers from other fields! For example, one of the bloggers I met today is a published author at 22 years old!

He is Marcelo Santos III and it was so cute how a lot of teenagers followed him around to ask for a photo with him and his autograph. Aaand you know how much of a lover I am of books and words, so of course I had to get a signed copy of his book for myself. What an inspiration! :)

So awesome!
It was kinda annoying actually to find out he has a LOT of fans but I don't even know him or his works. Just goes to show that no matter how informed or socially-adept you think you are, there will always be a lot of things you don't know; there is no limit to what you can learn. Every day is a chance to know more and be amazed some more. What else can I say? Challenge accepted! Although his target market is actually the teenagers so maybe this just means I am old or something haha not funny I prefer the first statement I cited just shut up and agree with me. ;p

Aside from all the sweets, treats, and mini feast I took home to my family, this is also included in our press kit. Ayala Malls could've given me this, only this, and I would've been more than satisfied.

Forever a Parokya ni Edgar fan ♥
This day started awfully but ended on a high note. Thank You, Lord. I can't wait to blog about the actual foodtrip experience tomorrow. :)

How are YOU? I hope you are enjoying the weekend, too!
