Bonjour, Elle Girl!

You know those contests in TV wherein the participants are asked to raid a store for a very limited time (usually not more than two minutes) and then they get to take home everything they were able to put in their shopping cart within the time limit? I asked because that is the hypothetical scenario I thought of the first time I set foot in the French-inspired British brand Elle Girl branch in SM Mall of Asia. I feel like if I do the same in an Elle Girl store, I can grab anything in blind panic and I will still like whatever item I get. As my officemates have observed, the design aesthetics of Elle Girl is "so Krissy".

Last Monday, my four other fashion blogger-friends Ana, Ava, Sarah, Bestie, and I were invited to a special brunch at Cafe Republiq by the Elle Girl team. While waiting for our food, we dropped by Cabana Club to take a peek at a photoshoot featuring the new five Elle Girl ambassadors.

Since Elle Girl is still keeping the identity of these five ladies under wraps, let me show you a sneak preview of the items you can expect when you visit any of their other branches in SM North EDSA - The Block and SM Fairview. They are also still fixing their newest store, so watch out for the launch of Elle Girl in Shangri-La Plaza Mall soon! There were a LOT of clothes and shoes spread out for us to play with but I was able to take only a few photos. You may check out my girl friends' posts for more! ;)

I also wanted to try this delicious cobalt blue peep-toes on but it wasn't in my size.

The Elle Girl team was also very generous and let us take home a whole outfit or a pair of shoes of our choice. I was on the fence between a pair of cobalt blue wedges but my love for lace and dainty details won in the end. I took this dress and the black rosette skirt I tried on home:
