You know I absolutely love desserts and you know I love lemons, so when I learned that one of my favorite dessert go-to places Red Mango released the new Yuzu Lemon-flavored fro-yo, well, let's just say I went a little bit crazy rushing to the nearest branch (TriNoma) to try it out.

| Crunchy Lemon Craze Yuzu Lemon yogurt topped with sliced almonds, lemon bits, and Cap'n Crunch A medium cup costs P170. |
What’s a Yuzu? “Yuzu is actually a Japanese citrus fruit that tastes like a milder more delicate version of the regular Meyer lemon,” explains Red Mango president, Sherika Tanmantiong. “We’re excited to reveal our Yuzu Lemon frozen yogurt because it’s a flavor that’s sure to tickle the taste buds and bring refreshment for what will be a very hot summer here in the Philippines.” And she's right. I love the Original flavor's sweet and tangy taste, but the Yuzu Lemon flavor has that added kick that makes a cup more indulgent. I know some people go for frappes to beat the heat, but I will always choose fro-yo over frozen coffee because [for me at least] it is yummier and healthier!
This new flavor was actually released last month but forgive me for sharing it with you guys just now. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think it's great that Red Mango continuously thinks of new and exciting flavors so we can have more options to choose from! I personally love this fro-yo place so much that I make sure I treat myself at least once a week :)
I like both Yuzu Lemon and Original flavors and it's so difficult sometimes to choose which one to get, that's why I LOVE that Red Mango came up with Yuzu Lemon Swirl which is a combination of the two. Now I get the best of both worlds! And yes, you can see above that I like fruits on my fro-yo. Sometimes I also get dezato mochi balls.
I have no problems with eating out alone; I can spend a few quiet moments at Red Mango with just a good book for company to relax and recharge, but there will always be times when I prefer to have other people with me. On that note, yes, IT'S TIME FOR A GIVEAWAY!
I think it would be lovely to have a get-together with three of my readers and spend an afternoon just talking about different things and bond over delicious fro-yo. We will be going with Kira and the winners of her giveaway that she's also currently holding on her blog so we will be a big group!

In my case, I have it in my nails!
| My nails look like mermaids. Sooo pretty ♥ |
I did my own manicure using the Juicy Cocktails Gradation Nails set in Mint Frappe the other day, and I still can't stop staring at it until now! I saw the set at Etude House in Market! Market! when I went there last week with my friend Rej, and even though I pride myself in finding cheaper alternatives to expensive products (each box contains three mini bottles of different nail polishes of varying levels of glitter and costs P348), I JUST COULDN'T RESIST THIS! I bought the Mint Frappe set (the three colors are named Soft Mint, Soda Mint, and Cool Mint) because turquoise is my second favorite color and because I have way too many pink polishes already haha. Don't you think it looks super pretty? I attended a beauty event the other night and I loved how my nails matched the color of the new moisturizer I can't wait to tell you more about.
I'm still drowning in backlogs but I'm hoping I will be able to update my blog with more and better content within the next few days. Thank you for your patience ;) I hope you're all having a great weekend!
*This is not a sponsored post. I am just a girl who really, really likes glitter and sparkly, shiny things.
There are two things you can never have too many of: good friends and good shoes. It just feels so wonderful that my Tuesday was spent with both :)
I haven't seen my long-time friend/ soul sister Ana for quite a while now because of my work and her Bloggers United commitments, so after all those were over, we made a point to exhale and have another date. The best thing to do while catching up? Why, shopping, of course!
BIG thanks to Parisian Shoes for enabling us! I wasn't able to attend the SM Ladies' show at the recently concluded Philippine Fashion Week so I was pleasantly surprised to learn I still get a special gift from them. After collecting it at their office, we [practically] ran to SM Makati to spend our gift cards haha.
It's so great to see that Parisian now has LOTS of styles and designs to choose from, all at affordable prices! Because, you know, I may be earning my own money now but it doesn't mean all of it will go to shoe-money. Because, you know, I am actually an adult now who has to face up to adulthood and pay, you know, bills. Ugh. We had a ball trying on different pairs of shoes, so I'd like to take this chance to thank the sales assistant who helped us with the sizes :)
After trying on a mountain of shoes, we chose these:
![]() |
| Can you guess which one is whose? |
| I chose this floral pair. Don't you think it's so me? It's SUPER pretty, I'm gonna die!!! |
![]() |
| Animal print (zoology) on floral print (botany) = BIOLOGY haha. |
| While Ana chose the wedges on two different colors: red and black! They look absolutely perfect! |
I actually wanted the same red wedges that she chose so we planned to buy the same pair initially and wear them at events together just for laughs, but it was love at first sight for me when I spotted the floral wedges ;p
I really had a great time at this shoe-shopping trip! Thank you so much, Parisian Shoes and Bags! You're spoiling us with all these treats, but I am not complaining heehee.
Ana and I talked about the different things that have been happening lately, and I love that even if we don't see each other for a while, it always feels like no time has passed when we do see each other again. We've known each other for almost seven years now, and whenever we talk I sometimes stop and realize just how much we've experienced together and how much we've grown up, in a lot of ways. I know I'm getting really cheesy here so I'm going to stop now. I just feel blessed to have friends like her, as well as friends like Aisa, Paul and Vanessa, who we met for an event and dinner plus coffee later in the day. I hope that whoever's reading this now also knows how blessed he/ she is with his/ her friends :)
I'm really thankful for friends who never change even if lots of other people and circumstances do ♥ Cheers to old friends AND new shoes!
So I thought my schedule will allow me to breathe more freely after the Bloggers United Bazaar Part Three, but no, I spent each one of my three day-break from work after the bazaar attending events! Not that I'm complaining, though. They're tiring, yes, but fulfilling and fun as well as I got to bond with my friends during and after.
The Sunday after the bazaar, I met up with my friend Regine so we can go to Style Origin at Market! Market! I chose her as my 'plus one' because she would be leaving Manila on the first week of July to study in Australia and [even though we've seen each other in person for only three times ever since we became friends online about seven years ago] I'm going to miss her. Thanks to Kelly for offering to let us ride in his car with him and his 'plus one' Paul :)
Style Origin is an annual event that reinforces the position of Ayala Malls as the premier lifestyle and shopping destination in the Philippines. Through its three month-series of unique lifestyle initiatives that feature the fusion of modern design, fashion, music and style, Style Origin has re-defined and elevated retail experience to a whole new level.
I chose to watch the High Street Fashion show and skip Menswear so Rej and I could still bond after. I used a crappy camera so the photos I took are not blog-worthy *sad face*, but here are some I was able to take:
High Street Fashion showcases the latest collections of world class and local brands. The pieces used in the show came from: Human, Swish, BClub, Marithe de Francois Girbaud, Silverworks, Wrangler, Tomato, Payless, Folded&Hung, Surfers Island, Leaveland, Maldita, Wade, Plains & Prints, Unica Hija, Rusty Lopez, Celine, Get Laud!, Just G, Heatwave, Petit Monde, GIBI, and Lee.

| Local band Up Dharma Down also provided entertainment. |

| Me, Earth, Paul, Kelly |
I love watching fashion shows because I get to see how the clothes look like when worn by a real human being and not a mannequin. I fell in love with these two dresses:
![]() |
| I'm not sure if you can see it because of poor photo quality, but that's a teal/ white maxi dress. |
![]() |
| I am so in love with this dress from Petit Monde. I wiiiish I can buy it. |
After the show, Rej and I went to Serendra so we can bond more over desserts while the rest stayed behind to watch the Menswear show. Check out Style Origin on Facebook and Twitter to see photos from the other shows done at the other Ayala Malls ;)
You can also check out Style Souk happening now at Market! Market! until tomorrow, June 8, and score great fashion finds from different brands! I was given gift cards to spend on a mini shopping spree there last Tuesday, and I got these:
![]() |
| Wanna see what's inside? :) |
![]() |
| I got a new watch from Skechers (P2,395) and a new pair of gray capri pants from Unica Hija (P495)! Thank you, Ayala Malls! |
![]() |
| Even my boss and officemates think it looks great. One of my bosses even said it looks like Lego haha. Thanks to Ana for helping me choose which watch to buy! |
![]() |
| I love that it looks trendy yet still classy. I love it so much, I haven't stopped wearing it since heehee. |
While in Market! Market!, you might want to join Star Style Picks and win a P25,000 shopping spree and a special feature in Philippine Star's Star Style Picks section. You can check the full mechanics on Style Origin's Facebook page. Good luck!
Now I kinda regret not being able to go at the earlier legs of Style Origin. Oh well, there's always next year! ;)
Congratulate me for I have survived a very crazy busy week! :D
My body's still sore all over due to carrying BIG bags of stuff and I think I need to catch up on sleep, but everything's good because I had so much fun at the Bloggers United Bazaar 3 held at the Grandview Events Place in Makati yesterday!
BIG thanks to everyone who came and visited the booth I shared with these lovely ladies:
I sold almost all the books and clothes I brought and I'm just glad my bookshelf and closet can breathe a little more freely again heehee. It was also great meeting those who comment and tweet me regularly and having people come up to me and introduce themselves as readers of this blog. I started krissyfied.com mainly to have my own space to share personal anecdotes and pretty little things and knowing that my posts make some of you smile just feels so gratifying and downright amazing. Thank you for fueling my passion for writing! If we have photos together, may I ask if you can post the link on the comment section? :) Here are some photos you guys have either tweeted me or been taken using my camera:
And now, my lovely bloggers friends who also sold their stuff at the bazaar:
I made a BU3 section in my planner so buyers can sign and leave their URLs but because there were so many people, I didn't get to take it out my bag until much later in the day *sad face* But thanks to Ana, Ava, Reg and Kira for signing it!

The Bloggers United Bazaar just keeps on getting better and better!
I loved the first BU and BU2 but the one held yesterday is probably my favorite! Congratulations to Pax, Ana and Melai for yet another successful (the place was PACKED!) event, and thank you so much for making me a part of it (my rent for the month has been paid for by some of my earnings even when I sold my clothes for as low as P100 and my books for as low as P20 haha).
![]() |
| Aside from flying in participating bloggers from all over the Philippines, the BU team also flew in top Indonesian fashion blogger Anastacia! So amazing! She's such a pretty doll :) |
Do I hear plans for BU4? Looking forward to seeing you guys there again! :)
This post will be regularly updated with announcements, releases, and promotions happening this month ;)
Accessorize
Exciting news not only for students, but for us all! Accessorize has an ongoing Buy One Get One promo, which couldn't have come at a better time because they just released new collections of pretty pieces perfect for us girls.
COQUETTE: Flirty Chic A quirky retro collection of bold statement accessories, COQUETTE is full of fun and flirtation. Colour blocking, stripes and novelty monogram prints are seen across a girly collection of scarves, bags and jewellery, all with a sense of whimsical charm in mind.
ARIZONA: Navajo Nation Inspired by the sun scorched northwest American deserts, ARIZONA presents a style evolution from summer’s PHOENIX collection. The ARIZONA girl takes sunset silk scarves incorporating snake and animal prints and wears them as headwear or simply tied to her woven slouch bag. Warmed with relaxed vintage style, the collection is full of ease and the essence of summer cool.
BONBON: Sugary Retro In a candy box of sherbet pastels, parma violets and fruity sorbets, the BONBON collection easily lives up to its sugary girl-friendly name. Dusted in retro chic and channelling the 1960s, BONBON presents girly vintage glamour with a drop of Japanese modernity sprinkled on top.
TIKI: Urban Jungle Ethnic influences meet slick city styling in the TIKI collection. Tribal jewel brights hook up with bird of paradise prints, bi-colour Japanese patterns and exotic reptile textures for an urban jungle look. Whilst channelling a summery exotic look, the look is very much one of grown-up work wear for the summer months, with hits of sharp, pencilled styling.
