Booking Ace Hotel and Suites via Traveloka App

I love going out of town with family and friends. However, with the hassle of braving traffic jams, getting out of Manila and back, most of the time it doesn't feel like it's worth it anymore. Thankfully, staycations have become more popular now; a sweet escape without having to go very far. All you need are discerning eyes, patience, and time to sift through a lot of choices and find the one staycation spot that best fit your preferences depending on location, amenities, and price.

Traveloka has a neat interface that only displays the information you need. Without unnecessary bells and whistles, it's very easy to navigate.

Last weekend, I went on a staycation with my sister just to take a breather from work and the monotone of daily adulting. I wanted to try Hotel H2O just because I've always wanted to go, but in the end additional relaxation brought by the Ace Water Spa led me to decide on Ace Hotel and Suites. (Plus points for the breakfast buffet!) Here are screenshots of the step-by-step guide to demonstrate how easy it was to book a hotel via the Traveloka App.

From the listed price of Php6,896.56, booking through the Traveloka App saved me Php1,724.89!

Traveloka accepts payments via Mastercard and Visa credit cards but if you don't have those, fret not because you can still pay over-the-counter via Dragon Pay or Coins, and through several local banks including BPI, BDO, and Metrobank. 7-Eleven and M. Lhuillier are also official payment partners.

I'm happy to report I didn't encounter any problems checking in. Here are some photos of our room:

We were welcomed to a suite that opens to a spacious living room with an office table, a couch, a TV, and a lounge chair.

There's a counter by the door that contains a mini ref with complimentary water, an electric kettle, cups and saucers, glasses, and complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer.

I would have preferred it if there was a tub, but it was okay, we still liked our huge bathroom.

We felt the bedroom was too big for us two that I almost wanted to call in more friends to fill the space, heh.

How I wish we could still enjoy starry nights here in Manila.

Just for kicks, I checked out the gym. I would've enjoyed the solitude had I brought proper workout attire!

It's been a while since I've had a dreamless night. ♥ I felt refreshed and recharged the next day, like I was ready for however many Mondays life throws at me! I woke up to such a beautiful morning that I had to recollect my bearings to remember where I was.

The buffet (open from 6 to 9:30 AM) offered a wide variety of breakfast fare - my favorite meal of the day! I had my fill of fresh fruits, fried rice, various sausages, tapa, creamy scrambled eggs, mini pancakes with butter, strawberry jam, syrup, and crispy bacon!

Aside from the amenities and the Ace Water Spa, I loved Ace Hotel and Suites' location! It's right smack in the middle of various eating places in Kapitolyo!

I really enjoyed our stay so much that I almost didn't want to go when checkout time rolled around. This has been a very satisfying experience for me so I'm planning to do it (with my girl friends this time) as part of my birthday celebration in April!

I highly recommend Traveloka App not only for the awesome deals with hotels and flights (they hold flash sales in bookings every once in a while so download it on the App Store or Google Play now!) but also because they have a dedicated team of customer service representatives who are very adept at responding to queries asked or reports filed. I had a concern initially but they instantly fixed it!
