Yesterday, we went to the new The Body Shop in Glorietta where they prepared a scavenger hunt for us. It was so much fun because I was able to confirm how much I know about TBS products and learn about their new offerings at the same time.

What could be more refreshing than an ice-cold glass of lemonade on a hot and humid summer day? Ahhh, bliss! Also, I've always loved citrus fruits like oranges, grapefruits and lemons more than any other type of fruits. When it comes to fragrances, I prefer citrus-y scents than floral ones because I think they smell cleaner and fresher.
That's why I'm more than happy to share with you the newest additions in my growing collection of pampering products:

I got these during the bloggers' event held last Friday at The Body Shop in Glorietta before Ana and I went to the SMART-Araneta Coliseum for Hanson's concert. We were given shopping money to spend on anything we wanted and I instantly found myself drawn to the shelf holding these bath babies. I admit I already have a lot of body butters and body scrubs in my stash already, but the thing is, they do not smell like lemons.
I used them the next day, and it was probably one of the most relaxing and indulgent showers I've ever done ♥ I just looove the formula of The Body Shop products and the way they really smell like sweet lemons, without being too overbearing on an air freshener-way. Sale or not, I will gladly restock in a heartbeat when they run out!

From the orchards of Turkey, The Body Shop's Frosted Plum collection is a sophisticated indulgence for the skin. They say it's their most refined seasonal delight yet, and looking back on their Christmas limited edition collections from years back, I must say I agree! I love that it's in keeping with my current purple obsession, too. It's infused with notes of magnolia, peony, and ripe plum, and smells sweet without being cloying. Layer the products to make sure the scent stays longer. Of these, my favorite is the Frosted Plum Shimmer Mist Globe. I love swirling it around and seeing the micro-shimmers dance about! I caught it on video and it's beautiful - like a snow globe!

I haven't tested the Eyeshadow Palette yet because I feel it's too pretty to open! Eep! From the swatches I've seen so far, I think the metallic shades are perfect for holiday parties, but they're not too crazy metallic that you won't be able to wear them on any regular day. I love that the box contains a fool-proof tutorial also. I will try this out and will share the result on my Instagram.

The love month is off to a great start with the new Spring Trend collection from The Body Shop! These arrived the other day and what better way to welcome February than tell you about pretty little things I can't help but gush about?
The Body Shop's Spring Trend Collection includes lip glosses, shimmer cubes, and hair chalks that come in two shades - one each for blondes and brunettes. I'm ecstatic that even though I am not a blonde, I still got the pink set! I had a lot of fun swatching them and taking photos. ♡
True to its name, this smells and tastes like roses! Not that I've ever eaten roses before but you get my drift. This lip gloss is ultra sheer with a generous serving of silver micro-glitters. I am wearing this on top of bare lips in the photo above but I think it's a great topper for your favorite pink lipsticks. Dab some just on the center of your lips for an instant plumping effect.
Look at all those colors, aren't they pretty? Multi-purpose too, as these shimmer cubes can be used as eyeshadows (just make sure to use a primer to make the colors more vibrant) and highlighter! I also love that they come in their own individual acrylic cases so if you want, you can even share one or two with your girl friends. ;)

I love how it complements my red hair! I now have half a mind to dye my hair pink next heh. You can even experiment with other "drawing" styles and apply the hair chalk on single strands, an ombré look, or a funky two-tone twist! Just make sure to set it with hairspray and try hard not to run your hands over your hair frequently for maximum staying power. If you don't want it anymore, just comb it out or wash with water! Easy-peasy.
The best thing about these three aside from the top-notch quality that can only be expected from The Body Shop is that they're all cruelty-free. So, which one is your favorite from the bunch? Mine is the Shimmer Cubes Palette. So excited to play with color and give myself just a wee bit of sparkle!
