Krissyfied is 17 years old!

Hello, friends! It's been a while. I hope you have been well. ♡

Today I got an email alert about my blog's domain renewal; my blog is 17 years old. Wow. I realized how much I missed just typing away here, not really minding if anyone reads what I write. But as my blog stats show, krissyfied.com still consistently gets views despite the lack of updates so if you are reading this, thank you for visiting my little corner in the world wide web. I hope you enjoy your stay.

So much has happened since I last blogged here: my 39th birthday and our spontaneous trip to Boracay just so I could take J parasailing, our quick beach trip up north, the M2M concert, our first wedding anniversary, and the various pockets of joy in between. I'd still like to yap about them all and I think I will, but right now, at half past midnight this rainy Monday evening, I want to take a moment to appreciate this little life. 

As a child I had a very active imagination, always conjuring dream scenarios in my head about what my future would look like. This life that I am living now? Infinitesimally better than any dream scenario little girl me came up with all those years ago.
