Hi everyone! Notice anything new here lately? That's right, new colors! I was feeling pretty festive yesterday so I decided to tweak the theme a bit. Pink is still my favorite color but you have to admit too much of one thing can be pretty tiring. I like this color combination because I think it just screams CHRISTMAS!

I don't know why but I'm in a good mood today :) I hope this continues all throughout the week, the month, until Christmas, and until the end of the year!

Oh wait, I know why I'm in a great Christmas-y mood! This coming Saturday I will be in Araneta to witness the lighting of Coca-cola's giant Christmas tree! I really enjoyed last year so I'm really looking forward to this one. Besides, one of the biggest wishes of my heart will be granted that day: Natasha Bedingfield will be there so I will get to hear her sing live! Her song Unwritten is the ultimate 'song of my life' so I couldn't help but shed some happy tears when my good friend Ed invited me. So amazing! I don't know if she will sing it though since it's a Christmas event but hearing her sing anything live will be more than enough :)

It's that time of the year again when nights are longer and the air much colder. Perfect weather for cuddles, yes?

But if you're like me who *cough* doesn't have anyone to cuddle with these days (heh), it's always great to have the right "gear".

Just sharing with you guys one of my favorite things in my closet right now:

This is actually meant for boys (I got it in size Small) so if you ladies are trying to look for the perfect Christmas gift for your boyfriends, boy friends, or brothers I think this would be perfect. Hurry though! This is actually the last piece from Penshoppe's TriNoma branch when I got it last week so I just got very, very lucky.

Okay, okay, I admit. At first I only got it because of my Mario Maurer high haha. Also, since I'm a girly girl who's not interested in any sports at all I think it's kinda unexpected that I would wear something like this, but I actually really like it :) My boss also wants to buy it from me but sorry, I wouldn't sell it :D

I love that it has almost the same color combination as my Hush Puppies sneaks. Makes me think of Iron Man and Gryffindor :) What do you think? I think I'll start trawling the Men's section more in the future haha. Happy weekend, everyone! Be safe!

I am too embarrassed to show you photos of myself when I was still studying because my hair looked terrible! Well, maybe not terrible exactly... But it was too long and thick and wavy for my skinny frame that it looked unkempt whenever I let it down that I had to resort to tying it in a ponytail all the time. As I've admitted before, I didn't care how my hair looked like as long as I had  money for shoes and books and bags ;D

This attitude changed during the latter part of last year. Ever since I had all those hair chopped and cut into a cute bob, my hair has undergone different transformations. I became more experimental - it's just hair and it will grow back eventually anyway - and got different makeovers, most recent of which were my full bangs, my Rihanna-haircut, and my pixie cut that I also had colored and highlighted.

Changing hairstyles is not enough. I also need to use the right hair products to ensure my hair remains beautiful and healthy.

A week ago I spent a lovely afternoon with Manila's top beauty bloggers and my fashion blog-friends at Basement Salon in ShangriLa checking out and testing Bed Head products.

After a quick interview by my hairstylist Alan to determine which Bed Head line is perfect for me, he led me to the portable sinks for shampoo and conditioner.

Miss Pam said before that when she becomes a bajillionaire, the only luxury she will be spending on is for someone to shampoo her hair every day for the rest of her life :) I agree, shampooing at salons feels soooo relaxing and so luxurious!

Alan used Bed Head StyleShots Extreme Straight on me, and he said it is the most fragrant in the entire line. I agree! I wish you can smell my hair through the photos as my hair smelled sooo good! I could still smell it when I woke up the next day :) It smells like vanilla but it's not overpowering - just perfect.

I have been using both these products for a week and so far so good! I love how it has made my hair color look more vibrant, at the same time lessening hair frizz a great deal! I've also gotten compliments from my officemates about how my hair smells so that's a big plus :)

Well, we weren't really formally introduced to each other, but the fact that my friends and I got to stand less than 10 steps away from Thai cutie Mario Maurer still makes me giddy ;D

I am too embarrassed to admit this, but I actually whooped when I read the email from Miss Jad of Publicity Asia on behalf of Penshoppe inviting me to both the Fan Conference and Penshoppe's show for Philippine Fashion Week S/S 2012 :)

Thank God for supportive bosses, I am out of the office at as early as 9AM last Friday. My friend Mich and I traveled the long way from Quezon City to Vito Cruz to meet with Ana, and then finally to PICC where the FanCon was held.

Upon reaching the venue, we were greeted by this:

I know Mario has a lot of fans, but I wasn't expecting this great turn-out! We tried to amuse ourselves by talking about other things, but I have to admit I wanted to give up already. What's even more frustrating is that when we got in after waiting for almost 45 minutes, we learned from Keigh that it was a classic case of miscommunication and it turned out that we had VIP passes and shouldn't have fallen in line all along x_x

Everyone waited with bated breath...

And a figure emerged in the shadows.

Then the lights went on, the hall almost erupted with the hundreds of girls simultaneously clapping, stamping their feet, and crying out his name!

It's a brand new month, guys! Every day, we're inching towards another new year, so make the last remaining days of 2011 count! Each moment should be worth remembering, and keep in mind that life is too short to waste time chasing false dreams.
